"Dry fly fishing , or, floating flies, are what I really enjoy to fish. At the vice (1995) I came up with a foam mouse pattern(perfect profile). It has a fur body, rubber legs tied down, rubber tail, and the back is all foam, tied down forming a small head with ears, again foam. I walked down to the river, hot with anticipation, on my third cast floating the # 4 (pp) mouse, this (above) 29 inch brown, burst from the bottom , took the pp , and kept going three feet in the air! I was numb, I did not have to set the hook, it was set. Alone, and after three more incredible jumps, I took a "quick pic "on "wet Rocks" just next to the river, yes, the fly does work!
