This is a rare Huge Rainbow that was "river caught", most large Trout you see from Argentina are Brown Trout. You will see when you look at most of the photos from other Fly Fishing  websites from  Argentina. These Trout are from the Rio Traful, it has both huge Rainbows and Brown Trout.

These are some of the larger trout that one can find in this region. Most of the fishing is similiar to the fishing we have in the western US.The big difference is that while the rivers in the "west" are frozen, you can be fishing uncrowded rivers, and have a chance of catching a very large trout, a trout of a life time.
